If you read my blog post often, you might get tired of hearing me say "I stumbled upon this place accidentally." I don't mean to sound repetitive but more often than not, this is the case. Of course some preliminary research is always involved before I visit my intended destination but ultimately, it is by chance that I come across the places that I enjoy the most. This little cafe is a perfect example.

When my husband and I ventured outside of our hotel in Old Town Prague searching for a coffee shop, our normal debate ensued. Edward usually wants to know EXACTLY where we are going by using Yelp and GPS and I just want to meander around aimlessly until some spectaclar place jumps out and starts calling out my name. This time, I was able to convince him to just go with the flow and follow me. I usually have good luck with my intuition being on target with finding places that are uncommon and noteworthy. We are actually both good at this but our approaches are measurably different.

Needless to say, it all worked out and it was a win/win situation for both of us. I was able to get the coffee that I was craving, and he was able to enjoy the scenery of this very charismatic James Bond theme cafe. Both of us are James Bond fans but Edward is much more so than I am having seen all of the movies and in fact, he has posters of the bond girls in his office (not really but we wishes that he did)

We both had lattes that were VERY good! So good infact that we returned the next day to get more. You simply can not find coffee as good as this in the U.S.

The breakfast was perfect. I had scrambled eggs with sausage and toast and Edward had had a dish called "The Sweet" which consisted of toast with a variety of toast "dipping sauces" as we called them which included Nutella, honey, strawberry jam. They were both delicious! My only regret is that I didn't have pictures but at the time, I suppose we were both too fixated on consuming this yummy breakfast fare to snap photos.

In addition to accomidating the breakfast crowd, the Bond Cafe transforms itself into a bar at night, serving beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages. Occasionally there is even live music. I wonder if Adele has ever made an appearance there to sing Skyfall? Most likely not but that would be appropriate, don't you think?

As you can see, we most certainly do not regret following our intuition down the streets of Prague because in the end, it led us to this little hidden gem where we got to indulge in some good coffee, delicious breakfast, and me the opportunity to look at pictures of Daniel Craig in a tuxedo.
